I am a long time user of Tom’s of Maine brand toothpaste. I was initially hesitant to try it because I had heard that it tasted funny – and it did at first. But after using it for a few weeks I found that my normal Colgate tasted too sweet to use.

The biggest concern most people have with buying natural products is how well they work, and in the case of something that goes in your mouth, how it tastes. There is a bit of an adjustment period to get used to the taste of this toothpaste. Most of us have been using the big commercial brands that are loaded with sugar since we were kids. You expect your toothpaste to be sweet. There is no sugar or artificial flavors in Tom’s of Maine toothpaste.
